5 Simple Ways to Balance Your Chakras

Many of you know about the chakra system and how keeping it balanced and in alignment is essential to our overall well-being and vibrancy.  If you’re not familiar with the seven main chakras, in essence, they are human power centers within each of us.  They receive energy, and distribute it evenly throughout the body.  Together they form a vertical line from the crown of the head to the base of the spinal column. 

Each of the chakras correlate to specific parts of the body and certain colors:

  • Root - base of the spine - red
  • Sacral - below the navel - orange
  • Solar Plexus – above the navel - yellow
  • Heart - center of the chest - green
  • Throat - center of the throat - blue
  • 3rd Eye -  at the forehead between the eyes - indigo
  • Crown - top of head - violet

Imagine chakras to be like wheels that are constantly in motion.  If those wheels get “stuck,” energy cannot move properly, and we may feel out of whack.  In this hectic world, it’s easy for the chakras to become imbalanced.  Anxiety, stress, electromagnetic frequencies, excessive screen time, and various medical disorders can block them.  So here are five super easy ways to balance your chakras to help you feel healthy, grounded, and radiantly alive:

1. Go Barefoot

2. Visualize Creatively
